The aim of the research is to identify the shift of the attitude of Lithuanian female students’ towards the physical education teacher. The research I was conducted in 2009 in the spring semester, the research II was conducted after four years (2013, during the spring semester). 362 females participated in the research I and 343 females in the research II. Conclusions. Lithuanian female students stressed the following the most liked traits of the physical education teacher: good knowledge of the subject, friendliness, nice shape, communication with the group, good sense of humor; whereas the most disliked are: passive participation in the classes of the physical education, poor communication with the students, lack of enthusiasm. After four years female students’ attitude towards the teacher of physical education had improved.
