Achieving economic security is one of the vital problems of the development of any state. All spheres of human activity contain risks and dangers that must be taken into account when determining and implementing the goals set by the society. Economic security is the basis for ensuring the national security of the country as a whole and its sustainable social and economic development. The problems of economic security become significantly aggravated in a rapidly changing economy, in the context of the transformation of the socio-economic system. The world is changing dynamically, and threats are changing at great speed. As a result, the security priorities identified at a particular stage of economic development are not permanent and undergo significant changes in specific situations. The system of potential and real threats cannot be constant either: they appear and disappear, grow and decrease, and their place and importance of influence on economic security change, too. It is impossible to imagine current national economic security without mentioning globalization. At the moment, practically all countries of the world, including Ukraine, are involved in this process. In the context of the globalization of the economy, the issue of ensuring the economic security of the country is particularly acute.
