Creativity is often defined as the production of novel, appropriate ideas, with its basic components usually referred to as fluency, flexibility, and originality (ex. Kurtzberg, 1998). These creative abilities are likely to be helpful in the conflict process. The study aims to examine the link between creativity and conflict. This study assumes that conflict itself is not constructive or destructive, whereas the path chosen to resolve the conflict is what leads to constructive or destructive results. The review of theoretical and empirical reseach in the field reveals that negotiators‘ mutually beneficial outcomes tend to be affected by individual creativity. It has been suggested that creativity may be facilitated by atmosphere of conflict in the article.
