Conjunction is the relation of words, collocations, sentences or text units. Conjunctions, linking words, particles and other link sentences without antecedent, i.e. word, expression which is linked by that mean. There is a large number and variety of classifications of conjunction. According classifications of experts of text linguistics and examined examples conjunction may be divided into five following types: additive, oppositional, causal, time and modal. The article discuses concept of additive conjunction, its subtypes and usage inclinations in the texts of scientific and publicist style. Additive conjunction is divided into simple additive, content addition, expressive additive, explanatory, exemplification discontinuance. Simple additive conjunction of scientific and publicist style of the texts are not very productive relation, usually not explicitly expressed, but implicitly. Simple additive conjunction is expressed by connectors ir, bet, taip pat, irgi. Connectors tuo labiau, net and so on not only complementary, but also highlights the text with the text content.
