The article reflects the institutional features of the economic security of the state in conditions of instability and the emergence of internal and external threats associated with the cyclical nature of the economy in conditions of globalization. The main factors of economic safety and institutional contradictions are considered. The risks of entry of TNCs in the national financial system under conditions of weak control and regulation of their activities by the state are investigated. The author also presents the problems of economic security of Ukraine and its main course of sustainable development.
