Discrimination in the labour market may manifest in different forms. One of them is discrimination based on gender, where women and men are not guaranteed equal access to employment, career progression, and equal pay for the same or equal-worth work. Namely, wages are an important factor in ensuring the well-being of the individual and family financial stability. The aim of the article is to find out how gender equality is established and ensured in the labour market in Lithuania.
