One of our primary objectives in teaching mechanics should be to help the student develop this ability to visualize, which is so vital to problem formulation. The construction of a meaningful mathematical model is often a more important experience than its solution. This course analyses vibroactuators with various piezoelectric transducers what are designed for practical implementations in high resolution mechanical positioning systems. Piezoelectric transducers transform high frequency resonance vibrations into continuous motion in several directions and can be used in various technological equipments. This research is focused on the combining of piezoactuators with mechanical systems and control processes as well as their physical properties. Results of the presented theoretical and experimental research have been adapted for design of mechatronic systems what are used for generation of precise linear motion and angular displacement. This material, concerning research and development of vibratory devices, is used in study courses Engineering Mechanics (Kinematics and Dynamics).
