Abstract (en)
Lithuanian poet Bernardas Brazdžionis, in 1944 having emigrated to the West, became an active public man. He was the editor of the Lithuanian encyclopaedia, he edited the magazine Lietuvių dienos [Lithuanian days], was the chairman of the Lithuanian writer society, etc. In emigration he published his several poem sets, in which the most important are the motifs of Mother-country freedom. His emigrational lyrics had especially great influence on Lithuanian residence and in the period of revival. In the article, some peculiarities of the rhetoric expression of emigration poetry of Brazdžionis will be analyzed. One will use comparative methodology as well as the works J. Girdzijauskas, A. J. Greimas, Yu. Lotman, W. Wolf, etc.
