Analysis of the risks caused by the transportation of hazardous materials presents a very different risk than a fixed facility. Sustainability of surroundings depends from a safe transportation, especially of the safe auto-transportation of dangerous goods. The aims of our research concern the methods to support decisions by evaluating transportation processes of dangerous goods. Mobile technologies provide a potentially convenient and truly ubiquitous platform for the detection of object context such as the location, as well as the delivery of reminders. A location-based reminder application runs on mobile phones. Reminders can be more helpful when rich contextual information that is used to present them at appropriate time moments and in appropriate places. Any aspect of the device that enables it to sense and interact with its physical environment may be considered as a sensor. We are using an appropriate interface structure (components, scenarios) for service control in the recognizing processes of the concrete situation of the moving objects, distributed information systems, and means of wireless communication systems (i.e. programming components, protocols, sensors and devices). The paper describes the examples of designing of the architecture of the decision support system (DSS) that uses wireless technologies to monitor of dynamic transportation of dangerous goods. We propose some wireless protocols used in establishing object’s geographical coordinates.
