The author of this article claims, that new approach to the teaching is closely connected with the new image of the teacher and the challenges he is meeting in the daily work. It is very important to pay attention to the method of didactics games in the initial primary school teachers training The article presents the model how to apply the method of didactic games in the primary school, describes the results of the experiment. The special attention is concentrated to the teachers readiness to lead the didactic games. The research proves that the effectiveness of this method depends on the close relationship between theory, modeling and practice.
