In this article we try to reveal the dynamics of understanding such categories as DEATH/DYING/LOSS through the human history with its various cultural, social, and political aspects.According to the sociologists, historians anthropologist, and theologians (Aries, Bucher, Dinzelbacher, Ratzinger,Bunare et al.), the acceptance of death has experienced many changes and transformations in human mind, and today it became a controversial topic because of a few reasons: on the one hand, the death of the OTHER brings morbid feelings, depression, and sadness – such topic is a kind of taboo. On the other hand, death, loss, and other violent scenes are freely demonstrated – has become exploitable through TV channels, and elsewhere. The article analyses some philosophical and psychological works. The use of main conceptions and their etymology are shown in this article. Finally, the man's inner knowledge of death and its poetical elements, according to psychiatrists Kubler-Ross, Grollman et al., are revealed with a purpose of showing the man's ability to understand death, loss and all its aspects. Indeed we understand and face the reality of life, and are able to accept its final stage – our own death.
