The article analyses the practice of employee socialization in organizations in Lithuania and grounds the importance and benefits of successful socialization both to the organization and the employee. The researches carried out by the author demonstrate that the socialization process of employees in organizations in Lithuania lacksa systemic approach, the consequence of which is the low level of employee commitment. The article also provides recommendations of a systemic character for the improvement of the socialization process.
