Straipsnyje pateikiami Prekybos žmonėmis panaikinimo ES strategijos 2012−2016 m. ir kitų svarbiausių pastarųjų metų tarptautinių ir nacionalinių dokumentų nuostatų,susijusių su atsakingų subjektų bendradarbiavimu ir tarpusavio veiklos koordinavimu kovos su prekyba žmonėmis srityje, ir nacionalinių kovos su prekyba žmonėmis koordinavimo modelių analizės apibendrinti rezultatai. Remiantis tyrimo rezultatais, straipsnio pabaigoje formuluojamos išvados ir pateikiami siūlymai, kaip būtų galima tobulinti nacionalinį kovos su prekyba žmonėmis koordinavimo modelį ir sustiprinti nukentėjusių nuo prekybos žmonėmis asmenų teisių apsaugą.
The article concludes that the national model of coordination of the fight against trafficking in human beings shall comprise of a few national instruments of coordination of the fight against trafficking in human beings, i. e. the national coordinator for the fight against trafficking in human beings, the national task force of responsible state and private actors for the development of policy against trafficking in human beings, the national group of specialists of responsible state and private actors for the implementation of the policy, and the national action plan against trafficking in human beings. These instruments shall also be organised on municipal (regional) level appropriately. The procedures for cooperation and coordination of national efforts shall be incorporated into national legal acts and cooperation agreements (memoranda of understanding). Finally, sufficient state funding, including the necessary means for running non-governmental organisations rendering assistance for victims of trafficking in human beings, shall be allotted.
