Having analysed the habits of work organisation of social workers from child care homes, it can be stated that: ninety percent of respondents devote time to setting short-term and long-term priorities, three fourths of social workers plan their work and have breaks at work, more than half of the social workers from child care homes spend some time for pleasant communication at work and almost one sixth pointed out that they devote time to activities for coping with monotony. The research revealed that more than one third of the social workers, who work in child care home, most frequently define own activities as well as responsibility spheres of a social worker and do not want to do work of other people. Monotonous character of daily activities may cause burnout syndrome. The research results showed that more than one third of social workers employed in child care homes do not devote any time to coping with monotony and to pleasant communication with colleagues, slightly less than one third of the respondents pointed out that they do not spend any time for breaks or rest at work, one fourth of the social workers face difficulties setting deadlines for tasks, i.e., they fail to set realistic deadlines. Approximately one fourth of the respondents do not devote any time to completion of long-term and short term assignments and setting of priorities, one fifth of the social workers do not allocate time to identification of complicated and simple assignments, whereas one tenth of the respondents do not spend any time for establishment of short-term and long-term goals. Planning of time and rest, identification of priorities are very important to avoidance of burnout syndrome.
