Monografijoje pateikiama nauja žemės teisės, kaip savarankiškos Lietuvos teisės sistemos šakos, koncepcija. Apibūdinami skiriamieji žemės teisės požymiai, ypatumai, šaltiniai ir istorinė raida. Žemės santykius reguliuojančios Europos Sąjungos ir Lietuvos teisės normos susistemintos į atskirus žemės nuosavybės, servitutų, žemės sandorių, naudojimo, valstybinio valdymo ir tvarkymo, žemės apsaugos, teisinės atsakomybės ir žemės ginčų nagrinėjimo teisinius institutus, analizuojama jų esmė ir ryšiai. Apibendrinama žemės teisės taikymo teismuose praktika. Skiriama aukštųjų mokymo įstaigų teisės, aplinkosaugos, žemės ir miškų ūkio bei kitų specialybių studentams, magistrantams ir doktorantams, taip pat įstatymų leidėjams ir praktiniams darbuotojams, sprendžiantiems žemės teisės taikymo ir tobulinimo klausimus.
The book is a monographic publication where, taking in regard the changes in the Lithuanian legal system and the requirements of practice after the country has joined the European Union, the author for the first time gives the foundation, in terms of both theoretical and practical aspects, for an independent branch of law - the concept of the land law. The Community and Lithuanian legal provisions on land relationships established in various legal sources, though often amended and supplemented, arc systemised into separate legal institutes along with ihe analyses of their essence, interrelations and the practice of their application. It is suggested to use this as a foundation for the codification of the legal norms that regulate land relationships, as well for the preparation and adoption of the Land Code.
