Mathematical modeling department at the M. Romeris university was established two and half years ago. Now mathematics is taught at for faculties of the university, seven different courses including calculus, linear algebra, probability and mathematical statistics are given. Results on more then five semesters of teaching mathematics are analysed using data of questioning more then 300 students. This analysis is made using methods of descriptive statistics and correlation analysis. Results of the analysis will be useful for further improvement of teaching methods. To maintain a sufficient level of quality of teaching of mathematics, simple practical examples are used. In order to solve problems of mathematics students work in computer classes and learn to apply mathematics using specialized packages such as Maple, Maxima etc. Graduates of these programs are prepared to apply mathematical calculations using information technology. There is a need to determine the most influential factor for the student to choose a course for studies, what information did they used, etc. According to survey results qualified information can be prepared and this information could help to orient students to make a choice. So we can make the following conclusions. The most part of the students are enough motivated for studies, but some of them do not have basic knowledge in mathematics. Based on answers of students we conclude that courses of mathematics are estimated positively, grades received are considered as impartial.
