Straipsnyje analizuojamas Šiaulių mieste esančio Talkšos ežero ir jo rajono pritaikymo sportui, gamtosaugai ir rekreacijai projekto valdymas, aptariami svarbiausi projekto socialiniai ir aplinkos politikos aspektai, taip pat iškeliami kai kurie aktualūs parkų ir laisvalaikio viešosios vadybos klausimai. Reikšminiai žodžiai: miestotvarka, želdynų valdymas, rekreaciniai ištekliai, vandenvala, viešasis administravimas.
In the paper case study on the management of Lake Talksa and its environs in Siauliai city due to establishment of international rowing centre is introduced. The paper present many-sided material concerning the readjustment of the extensively used ecosystem of Lake Talksa situated in the central part of the city, as well as two parks - Talksa and Salduve, together with valuable objects of cultural and natural heritage to a new centre of the city by means of public administration.
