The COVID-19 pandemic has triggered a rapid digital transformation of study and employment, which forces organisations and higher education institutions to change their culture of work and learning. This study examines the consequences of the rapid digital transformation in the context of higher education arising from the pandemic. The article explores the scientific problem of research – to find out what consequences the students of higher education experienced during the digital transformation. The aim of the study is to reveal the social and technical consequences of the digital transformation of studies and jobs. The study used a content analysis methodology to understand the consequences of individual, interpersonal and organisational levels that students encountered during their studies and work.
