Abstract (en)
The article describes the technology of drying herbs developed by the authors and the results of field tests of vacuum- evaporation chamber. The processes of drying marigold flowers (florescalendulae), rosehips (rosae) and motherwort herb (herbaleoniri) in vacuum with infrared (IR) heating are presented. It is shown that the calculation of cost-effectiveness by the results of the introduction of vacuum drying plant using infrared heating for uniform irradiation dewatered products obtained economic benefits.
