In the article the opportunity of future officers foreign language teaching (learning) and informational technologies (IT) integration has been analyzed. The research was made in 2006-2007 school year. Forty-four second-year students of Mykolas Romeris university Kaunas faculty of police took part in this research. Its aim has been to elucidate the future officers primary competence for performing of foreign language skills nurturing tasks in foreign Internet and also the students attitude to such tasks and their motivation level. According to the results of the questionnaire, the following conclusions can be made: 1. The employment of opportunities provided by Internet for nurturing of foreign languages skills, as respondents state, makes teaching process more attractive, interesting and useful. That enables to consider Internet as the motivation factor of studying foreign languages. 2. Future officers have initial competence in foreign language studying in Internet, so it is necessary to continue nurturing skills in this sphere. 3. Internet acts on future officers as a positive learning motivation, arouses interestedness to deepen foreign language knowledge and skills.
