Lean koncepcija sveikatos priežiūroje: galimybės ir iššūkiai

In today's global and dynamic environment, health care organizations face with various problems and are under increasing pressure from patients, competitors, and society perspective. In order to ensure the quality of health care and patients’ satisfaction, to achieve objectives of healthcare institution, it is important to reconsider the activities and processes, and to focus on value to patient, and patient-centred care. The essence of Lean concept is a focus on the value to customer and elimination of all activities that add no value from customer’s perspective. It tends to lead to production of products and services at minimal cost, flexibility, and continuous improvement. Costumer value and satisfaction, in turn, means the value to an organization, improvement of financial indicators, and competitive advantage. Based on the analysis of scientific literature, the paper seeks to reveal the main opportunities and challenges health care institutions face with while implementing multidimensional Lean concept in practice. After examination of multidimensional Lean essence, identification of key problems health care institutions face with, authors of the paper provide theoretical model and set out the guidelines for Lean concept implementation.
Straipsnyje analizuojama Lean, kaip vertės vartotojui kūrimo, produktų ir paslaugų teikimo atsisakant bereikalingo švaistymo ir nuolatinio tobulėjimo, filosofijos taikymo sveikatos priežiūros sektoriuje problematika. Pirmojoje straipsnio dalyje atskleidžiamas daugiadimensinis Lean koncepcijos turinys, analizuojami nuostoliai, sutinkami sveikatos priežiūros institucijose. Antrojoje dalyje pristatomi iššūkiai ir kliūtys, su kuriomis dažniausiai susiduriama, diegiant Lean koncepciją. Trečiojoje dalyje straipsnio autorės pateikia Lean koncepcijos taikymo sveikatos priežiūros institucijose teorinį modelį ir gaires, kaip Lean diegimo procesą padaryti sklandesnį.
