Abstract (en)
The article focuses on the ecological problem as a key threat to global security. The influence of the choice of a national model of socio-economic development on the guarantee of ecological safety is considered. The basic concepts of ecological and economic development are systematized and the concept of sustainable development is highlighted as a priority for modeling of socio-economic development of Ukraine. Problems in its realization are revealed and directions of further scientific research are outlined.
