Official Reserve Assets and Their Modern Structure

Abstract

The article is devoted to the research of modern features of formation of official reserve assets in the conditions of financial globalization. The article defines the key aspects of the formation of official reserve assets in accordance with the updated guidelines "International reserves and liquidity in foreign currency. Form Data Provisioning ». An analysis is conducted in which convertible currencies are expressed by international reserves. The emphasis is on modern features of the structure of official reserve assets, in particular, the role of SDR and monetary gold. The volumes of international reserves of Ukraine are researched. It is emphasized the need for further development in the formation of the optimal structure of official reserve assets in view of the increase of crisis phenomena and imbalances in the countries of the world at the present stage of development of the world economy.
