Abstract
Purpose: Over the past century, there has been a major increase in industrialized democracies budgetary deficit and dependency rate which prompted a shift from welfare to enabling state market-oriented governance that emphasizes a movement from passive to active work-related subsidizes policies, but the results do not always comport with their intentions (Neil, 2004; Esien, 2019, 2020). This paper analyzes the implication of employment subsidies under enabling state market-oriented governance to understand young third-country immigrants’ transition to work in Czech Republic.
