Objective of work - to review the role and possibilities of social institutions (jobcentres government, correctional inspections, non-government organizations and ect.) in process of convicts integration into the society. During the research the experts of eight Visaginas'institutions whith help convicts to integrate into the society have been questioned. As it turned out, the numbers of institutions supplying help has been increasing in the last years. Fiveteen years ago there were only two non-government organizations, giving help. There was none of government ones. Now the situation has changed. In Visaginas we have sixteen organisations, giving support; there are: seven governmet organisations, seven non-government organisations and two religious one. The increase in the numbere of such organisations was caused by the status of Visaginas a republican town, with was given to it several years ago. The mayority of Visaginas organizations give a great variety of services, but only one of them specialises in supplying help for convicts and those released from proson ahead. All the organisation give general servises: informing, consulting, mediating. And only one of them give financial help. According to the correctional inspection‘s data, the most crime was done by peple illing of dependence trouble. But only two organisation give psichological help and help in searching opportunyties to heal dependence trouble. The collaboration is quit close, but it is not effective and can not secure more successful integration convicts into the society. The experts mean, the low convicts education level and not being motivation to change behaviour is the bigest jam of resocialisation proces. We must stimulate and consolidate the motivation when we work with these people. Accortding to the mind of all social institution agents, the resocialisation is one of the needest national task. The nation must more stimulate activities of non-government organisations, whith help convicts integrate into the society.
