Abstract

The work tasks: Analyze defend of child’s rights in context of social policy; Explore acts of child’s rights policy in the practice of municipalities; Find out the difficulties of communication between the institutions of different levels; Generalize and value child���s rights policy practice in the municipalities of Skuodas and Mazeikiai. Analyzing security of child’s rights in context of social policy, it is possible to state, that the defending child’s rights policy is rather important direction of social policy. The state supports parents and foster-parents, takes care of child, who lost custody, gives chance to child, whose parents work, attend education institutions. But the child welfare is secured only partially. The child’s rights policy in Europe invokes on Child’s rights convention of United Nations. But the com-policy of defending child’s rights does not exist in European Union. In Lithuania child’s rights policy was starting to implement only when our country connect to Child’s rights convention of United Nations. The analyze of child’s rights laws shows, what Lithuanian laws does not quite agree with Child’s rights convention of United Nations, there is not supervision system, facts gathering and valuating.
