Abstract

Community is dissolving into separate segments at social point, and accessibility of education becomes very important goal to our country. Lithuania is multicultural democratic state and education of national minorities is one of the main goals of Lithuanian politic. The object of this master’s thesis is to research the influence of education system’s reform carried out in the Republic of Lithuania to accessibility of education for national minorities. Accessibility of education in this work is analyzed in social, geographical and organizational aspects. During the research, it was determined that it is uneffective to use the same principles of reforming school network for national minorities as were used for lithuanian schools‘ reformation, as well as a prompt carrying out of the reform of national language examination. Therefore some suggestions how to accomplish principles of school network reorganization and to improve lithuanian language learning process in schools of national minotities were offered.
