Since Lithuania has joined NATO, necessity of reorganization and improvement of Lithuanian army action came along. The purpose of this work is to unfold the lack of effectiveness, problems and to rate the possibilities of improving of training troop, and also to offer possible ways of reorganization. For that purpose 70 random soldiers of training troop were given a questionnaire. Empirical and theoretical methods of analysis used were: analysis, comparison, interview, document analysis and questionnaire. The work is based on two parts. The first is theoretic which analyze problematic aspects of effectiveness of organization, the troubles with employee’s motivation, and also analyze the development problems of Lithuanian army action. The second part analyzes the attitude of career soldiers from great hetmon Jonušas Radvila training regiment to the effectiveness of work, the need of perfection possibilities, the necessity employee stimulation and point of view of command to problems of work effectiveness. The research shows that work of training troop is not effective and needs to be improved. At the end of a work the conclusions and possible ways to improve the effectiveness are exposed.
