Abstract

The content of summary: In Lithuanian system of public health there are many other problems witch must be solved, but in other way, one of the biggest weaknesses of health care is deficit of resources. The expenditure on health care is in short supplies that secure effective health care, to improve administration expenses and financing. The implementation of public health policy in Lithuania is analyzed with reference to other countries standards of systems of public health financing questions. Summary. Over two thousand year the point of health care is unchanged: medical service in our days is exceptional, because health is primary demand and sick man is dependant on doctor and in this case medical service is not inconceivable without pay. This pay may vary because of medical service level. The patient not always can pay for necessary medical service, so he may be cured within cooperation. In other countries exists many different health care systems. Today, all of them are solving the same problems - how to improve the quality of medical service and its accessibility and to ensure steady public financing. By now, Public health care in Lithuania is not efficacious, because: - patients are not receiving qualified treatment; - exist illegal allowance of medical service and legal allowance is fragmentary; - Public patient till always are financially embarrassed for medical service, the chemist’s shop- for medicaments; - work circumstances of medics are heavy, a real wages are small; - Private health insurance is like a new idea today and circumstances to develop it are inauspicious. In this Masters Degree Paper raised hypothesis is right about Lithuanian Health care financing problems. So this social field needs to be more funded.
