Abstract

This concluding work of Master's degree study fishery regulation on the International, EU and national level in order to determine main principles, their efficiency, arising problems and ways of solution in fishery regulation. Fisheries - any activity related to the management, protection and restoration of fish resources, fishing, aquaculture, pond fisheries, fish processing and first marketing of fish. European common fisheries policy it is the system of fishery management, the objective of which is to create a rational system for fishery stock control, their protection and security of fishery business future the generation that succeeds us. The Law on Fisheries is Lithuanian Republic shall regulate the relations arising in the areas of fishing, aquaculture, processing and marketing of fish. Legal regulating of fishery have to ensure sustainable fishing, protection of fish resources and their restocking, fishing control, with account of the ecological conditions, economy of fisheries and the interests of the fishermen, fish farmers, processors and consumers.
