Having carried out a survey of Alytus educator’s and schoolchildren‘s opinion, an approach to violations of children‘s rights at school was defined. Also, there were the main children‘s rights considered along with the law that regulates that. Actual problems have been analyzed. Pupils and teachers positions on which children‘s rights are violated most were defined. The author of the paper showed that pupils and educators opinions on this question differ. Comparing their positions, it was revealed that pupils thought that their rights were violated more often. Pupils recited the most common violations of their rights at school which were the following: violation of their protection against discrimination, violation of their right to impartial assessment of their achievements, violation of their right to get information about the assessment of their achievements and violation of their right to be protected from cruel behavior. As for the educators, violations of children‘s rights were related to a strain of learning, to bullying by contemporaries, to the right to study in a psychologically, physically and spiritually safe environment. The research has revealed that the biggest problems at school are the harassment and bullying that children experience as well as student truancy.
