Consumer rights and genetic modificated products relations, the historicaly beginning of genetic modificated products are described in the first part of work. The main laws of Lithuania, EU and USA regarding genetic modificated products are described in the first and third parts of work. The conception of the genetic engineering, the laws regarding consumer rights protection, the consumers right to take part in decision making in Lithuania, Europe Union, USA are analysed in this work. This work is accomplished with analysing the alternative disputes resolutions regarding consumers rights. This present work examines the genetic modificated products and consumer rights protection. This problem became more urgent during last years because the biotechnology develops very fast and more and more products in the market are genetic modificated. The negative influence of using such products is not prooved yet because the genetic products investigations last long time and the exact resuts will be known maybe just after ten years. Because of that the consumer has to be protected and has the right to choose the product he want to buy. So the genetic modificated product must be labeled compulsory. The consumer rights regarding genetic modificated products are regulated in the Constitution of Lithuania, the Civil Code of Lithuania, The Consumer Rights Protection Law, the Genetic Modificaded Organisms Law and others. Many EU law regulations regarding genetic modificated products are transferred into Lithuanian law.
