    Motinų bendravimo su paaugliais lytiškumo temomis įsivertinimas ir lūkesčiai

    Straipsnyje siekiama atskleisti motinų bendravimo su paaugliais lytiškumo temomis kognityvinį, emocinį įsivertinimą ir socialinius lūkesčius. Atlikto tyrimo duomenys parodė, kad dauguma motinų mano galinčios atvirai kalbėtis su dukromis ir sūnumis įvairiomis lytiškumo temomis. Beveik visos motinos pokalbius su vaikais lytiškumo temomis sieja su atsakinga motinyste, tačiau daugiau negu pusė motinų, kalbėdamos su vaikais, jaučiasi nemaloniai, sutrikusios, gėdijasi. Motinos viliasi, kad pokalbiai gali padėti apsaugoti paauglius nuo rizikingo lytinio elgesio

    The newest research has proved the importance of discourse for second language learning and teaching at more advanced levels. TED-MDB multilingual discourse-annotated corpus, created within the framework of TextLink, COST action IS1312, appears to be a handy tool for illuminating qualitative differences between the first and the second language discourse marker use. The current research focuses on the pragmatic use of English discourse marker and with its Lithuanian counterpart ir paying attention to the cases when the connectives and/ir perform different functions, e. g., discourse structuring, etc. It was established by the research that the use and translation of the connectives vary. They may be translated by the discourse markers provided by dictionaries, or might be transferred into a different discourse marker or are simply omitted. The research leads to a conclusion that language learners and teachers may use the corpus resources for raising linguistic awareness about the pragmatic use of discourse markers.

    Vaikų baimės yra dažna problema ikimokykliniame amžiuje, nes tai - savito mąstymo amžius, kai pažinimo ir savisaugos poreikiai labai stiprūs, o gyvenimiškos patirties beveik nėra. Šiame straipsnyje, norint suprasti vaiko emocinės būsenos ypatumus, kas jiems sukelia baimę, išanalizuoti sutrikusio regėjimo vaikų ir jų tėvų baimės sampratos skirtumai.     Quality assessment of internationalised studies: experience of Socrates/Erasmus programme participants

    The article discusses theoretical preconditions of added value of internationalised studies for students’ knowledge and skills development in the area of professional training within the system of higher education. The premise is formulated that the value and quality of academic exchange is possible to assess grounding on the research into international exchange participants’ experience. Such kind of research should become an integral component of the system of study quality assessment and could contribute to quality assessment and development of higher education institution internationalisation. The article presents research results on ERASMUS students, representing 13 countries attitude to the impact of international dimension in studies on development of their competencies. The research into ERASMUS students’ views revealed: 1) students’ motives to experience internationalised studies; 2) students’ attitude concerning added value of internationalised studies for their personal development and acquisition of subject knowledge and skills; 3) reasons presented by students explaining the necessity to internationalise higher education. Aiming at validating the applied value of research into exchange students’ experiences for the value and quality assessment of international academic exchange, some criteria and indicators of quality assessment of higher education internationalisation are formulated.
