Abstract (en)
The aim of the article is to provide a comparison of the formal and semantic structure of the morphological causatives (causative verbs) in Lithuanian, Norwegian and Finnish. Morphological causatives of these languages can be grouped on basis of the type of marker of causation they have. There are three alternatives: (a) an affixal marker, (b) an apophonic marker and (c) no overt marker.
