The article analyses the prospects for the application of artificial intelligence in the delivery of justice by courts. The application of artificial intelligence is increasingly spreading in various different areas of life - both in the daily life of individuals and in the public sector. One of the main areas where artificial intelligence is already being applied is in the area of justice. However, given the complexity and importance of this field, the question arises whether artificial intelligence could really replace the person of the judge. In order to answer this question, the authors first assess what constitutes the delivery of justice. Secondly, the authors analyse the concept of artificial intelligence and the possibilities of its use. Thirdly, the authors assess the potential and risks of artificial intelligence in the delivery of justice. The paper reviews various artificial intelligence models already in use around the world and assesses the application of various technologies (large language models such as ChatGPT) in the court. Finally, conclusions are drawn as to whether artificial intelligence can replace the person of the judge.

It has proven that cooperative digital platforms are particularly vital during the full-scale war of Russia against Ukraine and the post-war reconstruction period. Originality. A proposed cooperative digital platform-based model develops a microgrid ecosystem to produce renewable energy. Digital platform cooperatives exemplified the benefits of geographic or specialty localization (specialization) with the activities’ globalization. Digital platforms allow united independent developers of scientific and technical innovations and technological knowledge, as well as owners of material funds and financial resources.

Viešoji politika ir administravimas = Public policy and administration. Kaunas : Kauno Technologijos universitetas ; Mykolo Romerio universitetas, 2019, t. 18, Nr. 1., p. 36-51

Šios strategijos suformavo svarbiausius Lietuvos aplinkos apsaugos politikos principus. Straipsnyje taip pat yra aptariama aplinkos apsaugos politikos samprata, pateikiami skirtingi į ją požiūriai.

Practically every day there are te rrorist attacks executed some- where. For this reason, the need to reveal the impact of terrorism on tourism sector of Lithuania and how well it is ready for this chal- lenge occurs. The analysis of scientific literature and secondary data was used as well as two surveys (q ualitative and quantitative) were carried out. Since the possibility of a terrorist attack in Lithuania is trivial, the research focuses on the Lithuanian outbound tourism sector. The survey of interaction between terrorism and tourism and impact of terrorism to tourism in different countries is provided. It is worth emphasising that tourists become the victims of not only pre- planned but also of individual terrorist attacks. Events of recent several years have caused the emergence of the terrorist tourism, when people with radical attitudes travel to, e.g., Syria. Despite the various attacks and subsequent dips in tourism the world of travel and hospitality has entered a new era of growth and transformation. The purpose of the research was to identify how Lithuanian tourists and experts perceive dangers and whether this affect their choice of trips and what measures can reduce the impact of terrorist attacks on tourism. Both the Lithuanian tourists and experts understand that the threat from terrorism has been growing, nevertheless the comparison with other surveys can lead to the statement that there is a specific tourist market in Lithuania which is characteristic of courage, inflexibility in terms of price and poor perception of possi- ble threats.

After entering school context variables in the regression, demographic characteristics and mother’s guilt induction practice remained significant, but mother’s emotional warmth was no longer significant. This suggests the possibility that school context acts as a mediator between emotional warmth by mother and delinquent behavior. This finding has important practical implications in terms of shedding some insight on how multiple systems might be interlinked in influencing wellbeing in adolescents and confirms the importance of intervening at the double platform of both the family and the school system.

The article is aimed at the revelation of the opportunities of competitive intelligence application in business using different ways and tools of information collection. The scientific literature identifies the following stages of CI interpreting it as a process: establishment of the need, evaluation of the need, need fulfilment plan, need funding, long-term plan making. However, companies not always search for the information about competitors’ actions but they might want to seek to protect their information from competitors. Under the conditions of this reverse need, the following stages of CI can be defined: identification of possible threats, evaluation of the threats; assessment of threat level, selection of priorities, funding, and threat elimination. It has been established that the most popular CI information sources are as follows: company’s own knowledge obtained while searching competitors’ websites, participation in fairs and exhibitions. It shows that information is easily accessible, although it is not always reliable or verified. The model presented by the authors of the article enables to identify the main specificities of CI using in big and small - medium business sectors. The main differences between these two sectors include CI funding and access to secret competitors’ information.
