Still the search for an appropriate basis for understanding and describing the phenomenon creates challenging problem for entrepreneurship researchers. Aiming to provide some clarification of the concept of entrepreneurship, its components, entrepreneurial process and nexus between them, the theoretical framework, based on resent research in the field of entrepreneurship, was built.

30 Information models of urban development trendsItem type:Publication, conference paper[2008][P1a1][T002][9] ;Burinskienė, MarijaRudzkienė, VitalijaThe 7th International conference Environmental engineering: selected papers, May 22-23, 2008 Vilnius, Lithuania. Vol. 3. Vilnius : Technika, 2008. ISBN 9789955282655., p. 915-923Implementation of sustainable development policy is one of the most complicated tasks and challenges faced by the global community. The efforts to move the concept of sustainable development from a theoretical level to a decision-making level and to link the economic development to environment are followed by a number of problems. Several theories and individual methods of the development of trends exist and they could be applied in the forecast of potential future. The setting of concerned social problems, related to scientific knowledge, its receipt and representation, consists of four different but inter-related elements: real world, data, theory, model. Analysis of the sustainable development must be based on a systematic approach. In article are presented some examples of models: urban development, foreign investment, the standard of living and housing and others. The trends of regional development scenarios (Supporting, Green and Market) are described in next chapter. Conclusions and recommendations finalized article.

Drafting general plans of Akmene region a questionnaire - survey of inhabitants of this region and towns was carried out. Application of quality analysis methods is a valuable measure enabling specialists and planners to apply the proposed solutions by taking account of their specific features and peculiarities.

9 The Model for sustainable development in transport infrastructureItem type:Publication, [Modelis darniam transporto infrastruktūros plėtojimui]conference paper[2006][P1a1][S004][4]Citizens and Governance for Sustainable Development / edited by W. Leal Filho, D. Dzemydiene, L. Sakalauskas, K. Zavadskas. Vilnius : Technika, 2006. ISBN 9955280417., p. 63-66Constantly increasing volumes of passenger and cargo transportation require a constant transport network development as well as renewal and updating of its elements. Thus, transport is a branch of economy that requires a lot of resources for its normal functioning. On the other hand, the development of transport infrastructure can cause negative effects on the environment. We propose here the optimization model allowing us to choose the most efficient way of development of transport infrastructure. The criterion of the model involves the expenses needed for compensating the negative effects of development of the transport infrastructure and system restrictions of the model involve the restrictions limiting the negative effects of development. The model allows us to optimize the costs of development of the transport infrastructure without exceeding the limits set for the negative effects.
