Abstract (lt)
Changes in the family institute are analyzed in this study. These changes are determined by the latter year’s rapid growth of economy, the development of knowledge society, processes of globalization and etc. All this has influence on the family which has to accept various challenges. Alternative marriages that are emerging and admitted by society and forms of family life are like challenge which family has to accept.
