Magistro darbe nagrinėjamas socialinių paslaugų teikimas šeimoms Šalčininkų savivaldybėje. Pirmoje dalyje analizuojama teorinė viešųjų ir socialinių paslaugų samprata, pateikiami įvairių autorių apibrėžimai. Aptariama socialinių paslaugų tipologija, socialinių paslaugų šeimai teisinis reglamentavimas, organizavimas ir įgyvendinimas. Antrojoje darbo dalyje aptariama tyrime naudota metodika. Trečiojoje, analitinėje baigiamojo darbo dalyje, taikant struktūrizuoto interviu metodą ir kokybinės duomenų analizės metodus, nagrinėjami ir pateikiami atlikto tyrimo rezultatai, kurie atskleidė sunkumus ir problemas, su kuriais susiduriama organizuojant ir teikiant paslaugas šeimoms Šalčininkų savivaldybėje. Darbo pabaigoje pateikiamos išvados ir pasiūlymai Šalčininkų savivaldybei ir Šalčininkų socialinių paslaugų centrui.

The master's thesis examines the provision of social services to families in the municipality of Šalčininkai. The first part analyzes the theoretical concept of public and social services and presents the definitions of various authors. The typology of social services, legal regulation, organization and implementation of social services for the family are discussed. The second part of the job discusses the methodology used in the research. In the third, analytical part of the thesis, using the structured interview method and qualitative data analysis methods, are examined and presented the results of the conducted research, which revealed the difficulties and problems encountered in organizing and providing services to families in Šalčininkai municipality. At the end of the work, conclusions and proposals for the Šalčininkai municipality and the Šalčininkai social service center are presented.
