Rikterienė A. Final master’s work. University of Mykolas Romeris, Faculty ad Social Politics. Vilnius 2006-11-25. The scope of work – 60 pages. The subject of work – the content and specifics of professional provisions of a social worker. This master thesis was accomplished by using the scientific and statistical literature, periodical (specific literature is specific in the chapter „The list of Literature”). You can also find a questionnaire in the appendix, which was used to execute the research. In this work there was pursued to analyze the professional provisions of social workers, to explore their position and significance in the social worker’s activities. This work can be used for educational purposes wishing to study advertising. This work consists of two main parts. In the first part scientific, methodical literature and documents of social work issues are analyze. The conceptions of professional provisions and social worker’s activity are described here as well. In the second part the research of professional provisions of social workers is presented. The survey was used to evaluate the professional provisions of social workers. Substantiality was chosen as the indicator of evaluation. One hundred working social workers, who work in different social support institutions of Elektrėnai municipality were questioned. The data was processed using mathematical statistical analysis methods: distribution of variable rates, cross tables, correlation material interpretation, diagrams. The hypothesizes were proved, that understanding the significance and importance of professional provisions depends on the educational level of social workers and the stress of professional provisions is determined by the direction and content of social workers’ activities. The hypothesis was not proved that understanding the significance and importance of professional provisions depends on social worker’s experience and age.
