Tikslas yra išanalizuoti ugdymo karjerai ypatumus pradinėje mokykloje. Tiriamieji: pradinės mokyklos karjeros specialistai. Darbo metodai. Mokslinės literatūros analizė, pusiau struktūruotas interviu. Tyrimo metu buvo apklausti 5 karjeros specialistai dirbantys su pradinių klasių mokiniais. Tyrimo rezultatai. Karjeros specialistai labiau vadovaujasi šiuolaikine karjeros samprata. Ugdymo karjerai veiklos dažniausiai įgyvendinamas per renginius, integracija. Taikomi aktyvūs ir patyriminiai metodai, kurie skatina mokinių įsitraukimą, motyvaciją bei socialinių gebėjimų ugdymą. Karjeros specialistai nurodė, kad svarbų vaidmenį ugdymo karjerai prakinių klasių lygmenyje turi bendradarbiavimas su mokinių tėvais, vyresnių klasių mokiniais. Tačiau išryškėjo iš pagrindiniai iššūkiai – ugdymo karjerai veiklų fragmentiškumas, metodinių priemonių stoka ir nepakankamas bendradarbiavimas mokyklos viduje.
The goal is to analyse the peculiarities of career education in primary school. Subjects of the study: career counselor works in primary school. Methods of study: Scientific literature analysis and semi-structured interviews were applied. During the study, five career counselors working with primary school students were interviewed. Results: Career counselors tend to follow a contemporary concept of career education. Career education activities are most often implemented through events and integration into the educational process. Active and experiential methods are applied, encouraging students’ engagement, motivation, and the development of social skills. Career counselors indicated that collaboration with students’ parents and older students plays an important role in career education at the primary school level. However, the main challenges identified were the fragmented implementation of career education activities, the lack of methodological tools, and insufficient collaboration within the school community.
