The understanding of motherhood is analyzed in this report. The understanding of motherhood is looked upon from the perspective of feminist movement as well as psychology, Catholic social teaching, Lithuanian social policy. In this report the results of empirical research of the high-school graduates on the subject of motherhood is presented and analyzed.
