In the paper, the eigenvalue problems for one- and two-dimensional second order finite-difference operators with nonlocal coupled boundary conditions are considered. Conditions for the existence of zero, positive, negative or complex eigenvalues are proposed and analytical expressions of eigenvalues are provided.
