In this article the authors discuss the importance and the significance of parents’ engagement in child’s early institutional education as the main aspects of such engagement are both assurance of education quality, child’s support, and teachers’- -parents’ collaboration and positive feedback. This process of getting involved parents into child’s education, according to Reggio Emilia3 philosophy, starts from the kindergarten stage, and plays the most significant role within child’s socialization as well. It is also stressed that when children feel the responsibilities of both sides (teacher’s and parents’) about what is happening while being in the kindergarten, they feel much safer, comfortable, and self-confident. In addition, the article is illustrated with real-life pictures from the activities in the kindergarten “Lazdynėlis”4, so it becomes clearer for the reader on how every child is treated within Reggio Emilia philosophical frames.
