The innovations development in Lithuania is analysed in this article to using the Summary Innovation Index (S1I). The innovations dynamics movement is analysed in the context of innovations development of European Union. The problems and possibilities of innovations development in Lithuania are discussed including the expediture on Research and Development (R&D), the Life-long learning and the innovation activities of firms.
