Abstract
This paper considers how e-participation can strengthen democracy in Lithuania, and concentrates on the overall development of democracy and the usage of electronic participation (e-participation) tools among the Lithuanian members of Parliament (MPs). Firstly, description of the methodology is provided. Secondly, follows the overview of the previous studies about e-participation initiatives of the politicians' worldwide. Thirdly, the findings of the survey on the websites of the Lithuanian MPs completed in August 2007 are presented. Finally, the conclusions of Lithuanian case study and the recommendations to Lithuanian representative power are given.
