Brexit as a Grade and Economic Challenge for the EU

Abstract

The article is devoted to the process of Britain’s exit from the European Union, which is called “Brexit”. Possible political, trade-economic, social and other consequences of such a decision are revealed. Brexit has not only certain benefits for Britain, but also threats to the EU’s economic security. The consequences of a possible exit were analyzed by British and Ukrainian scientists and presented in this article. Based on a thorough analysis, the scenarios of the development of trade and economic relations between Britain and the EU are being shown. However, the discovery was that in reality, the threat is not as vast as it can be thought about. Based on data from the World Bank and the Office for National Statistics of Britain, the trade and economic relations and the environment in which they took place are analysed.
