The article deals with the traditions of student's sport, achievements, physical training, health and physical activeness in Mykolas Romeris University. Over past five years development of sports increased. Most popular sports – gymnastics, aerobics, basketball, table tennis, judo, badminton and so on. The main task of physical training program is to achieve that members of University community improve practical abilities through physical development, introduce physical training system to every sportsman and teach students how to estimate and analyse physical self condition and spend free time more active and educated. Conclusions of research confirm that considerable part of students and office workers remain unmoved to physical training, do not feel need for sport and do not strengthens their health. 2-3 % of students have serious health disorders, considerable part of MRU students are not physically well prepared. There are no more obligatory practical trainings for most of faculties in MRU, while other high schools still have them at least in first course, so it is necessary to improve regulations that there should be three weeks of obligatory practical physical trainings in all educational institutions.
