Abstract

The work deals with mathematical, scientific articles and the database designed to have an automatic text processing. An inventory of key words vocabulary and the informational analysis of scientific articles, that is indentifying the mathematical terms that are selected from articles on the number of statistics, keyword list, interpreted as the source of information, entropy, evaluating the articles „distance“ from each other using the metrics of Heming. For the academical articles informational analysis is used one of the joint authors developed computer program. This database is useful for the capability of classify the scientific journal publications by topic at the same time creating specialised database which enables easy and convenient relevant information search. For example to find reviewers for the newly consigned article for a journal. The investigation has concluded that the development of the methodology requires to pay more attention on the formation of key words vocabulary. The ongoing researches are based on the reviewing articles in the journal „The Baltic Journal on Mathematical Applications, the numerical analysis and differential equation“.
