Abstract (en)
In 2003 in Lithuania new Criminal Code of the Republic of Lithuania and a Code of Criminal Procedure of the Republic of Lithuania came into force. Employing best legal procedural means of Western Europe, considering the standards of protection of human rights, principles of criminal procedure, especially, constitutional ones, the Codes were pursued to newly establish legal regulations of qualifications of criminal acts, their disclosure by using non-public procedural coercive measures.
