Abstract (en)

The article examines the problems of measuring and evaluating the quality of life (QoL) of population. The authors have developed a methodology to assess the QoL. The methodology is based on the concept of QoL, encompassing 3 main blocks into one system – health and demographic characteristics of population, wealth, cultural and moral-ethical indicators. The article presents a model for evaluating the QoL in the case of Lithuania, which allows measuring and evaluating the individual components of QoL and also calculating the integrated index of QoL.
